Seeing as how "oko" means "eco" in different languages, the basic definition for this frozen yogurt and tea shop has already been given to you. Located on 5th avenue in Park Slope, Oko offers a greek yogurt base with a variety of toppings and syrups to choose from. Toppings include strawberries, blueberries, granola, walnuts, sliced almonds and etc. Oko also brews green, black, oolong and herbal teas as well as coffee and other drinks. All of the packaging here is made from renewable resources. Don't be fooled by the spoons' and cover's plastic appearance, they are actually produced from corn and potatoes. Tee-shirts worn by the employees are all made from 100% organic cotton and the shop is cleaned with only the best of organic cleaning supplies. In all ways possible, Oko tries to preserve a healthy environment for themselves and their customers.
