Goosefoot Food Bank Garden at Finnriver Orchard

Located on the south side of Finnriver event building. The garden rows for the Food Bank are next to the Organic Seed Alliance test trials and Finnriver Farms production gardens.

  • Size: 1 acre
  • Gardening Style: Rows and organic practices, uses starts, irrigated
  • Growing: Lettuces, salad greens, winter storage crops, winter stir fry mix, flowers, herbs 
  • Serving: Tri-Area Food Bank (Distributes Wednesday), Quilcene (Distributes Wednesday) and Brinnon (Distributes Tuesday) Jefferson County Anti-Racist Fund CSAs, Recovery Cafe, and a new program donating CSAs with the Jefferson Healthcare Oncology Department.
  • Supporters: Finnriver for land, water, and equipment. Organic Seed Alliance for seeds.
