Launched in 2003, Caithness International Science Festival has grown to be one of the largest and most-loved events in the county.

Caithness has a rich history of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM). The festival aims to showcase the diverse nature of these important disciplines and celebrate how Caithness contributes to them, as well as welcoming presenters, lecturers and visiting Science Centres from across the UK and the rest of the world.

Held annually, during March, Caithness International Science Festival is managed and run by Science O3; a Caithness based charity operated by a group of committed professionals, including teachers, engineers, and scientists. Our core purpose is to bring fun and interactive learning experiences to people of all ages and from all backgrounds in the Caithness Community.
