Nature-based solution category: urban tree planting

Urban tree planting is being delivered across Angus to increase the connectivity of greenspaces and provide shading and cooling for people and wildlife as temperatures rise. Between 2021 and 2024, 517 trees were planted, with a further 190 planned for 2025/26, supporting climate adaptation, biodiversity and more resilient urban environments.
