Nature-based solution category: flood protection scheme
The Brothock Water flood risk project is delivering a series of measures to reduce flood risk, including upstream natural flood management to increase flood water storage. These interventions supplement existing downstream flood defences and support a more catchment-based approach to managing flooding.
