Theme: Green Spaces, Repair and Reuse, Climate Education, Youth Climate Action Stirling Students’ Union Green and Blue Space and Community Garden is a student-led sustainability hub at the University of Stirling that supports climate action, sustainable living, and community learning on campus. The Green & Blue Space acts as a central hub where students can volunteer, attend workshops, and take part in projects focused on reducing waste, sharing resources, and living more sustainably. Alongside the hub, the Students’ Union Community Garden offers a space for students and the wider community to grow food, support biodiversity, and spend time outdoors. Through gardening sessions, sustainability initiatives, and hands-on activities, the project encourages people to learn practical skills, connect with nature, and explore how green spaces can support wellbeing. In this short interview, we also explore how gardening and spending time in green spaces can support wellbeing and help people feel more connected to nature.

The Value of Community Gardening on Students Wellbeing Interview  – FEL Scotland

SustainAble for All’s Accessible Eco-Trail Map, created in partnership with Forth Valley Sensory Centre and FEL Scotland, showcases climate projects, stories, and places from across our region. These locations are connected to people who have taken part in our discussions and training around sight and hearing loss. The map brings together climate action and accessibility, helping to raise awareness of both. Explore your local area to discover inspiring climate initiatives and learn about work being done to improve accessibility for people with sight and hearing loss.
