Theme: Green Spaces, Climate Education St Ninians Library is a welcoming community library in Stirling that provides much more than books. The library hosts a range of inclusive groups and activities that bring people together for learning, creativity, and community support. Local groups meet regularly in the space, creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect, share skills, and take part in community life.
Behind the library sits the Mayfield Secret Garden, a once-unused courtyard that has been transformed into a vibrant community garden. Developed with local volunteers and partners, the space now supports outdoor learning, biodiversity projects, and accessible gardening activities. Through workshops, planting sessions, and sustainability events, the library uses the garden as a place to explore topics such as climate action, wildlife, and sustainable living while helping people connect with nature and each other.
