Bradford on Avon Town Council have taken on decommissioned phone boxes to renovate and re purpose as community-led eco and information stations.
Already one of the phone boxes (Whitehall, North Ward) is being used as a place to swap seeds and other produce in association with Grow Bradford on Avon; another is being used as a book swap (Churches); and a third as an information point including climate emergency information (Church Street).
Two other decommissioned phone boxes on Newtown and St Laurence Road are also waiting to be used, potentially for information about low energy cooking (St Laurence Road) and sustainable food (Newtown).
