CUNY Center for Sustainable Energy at Bronx Community College

CUNY recently joined the Million Solar roofs partnership and plans to install 500 PV systems in New York City by 2010. They encourage the use of renewable and efficient energy technologies in their community and in other urban communities through education, training, workforce development, research and more. They offer training courses and seminars to the public as well as to students, teachers and other professionals, and hold a variety of events such as the ‘Road to Energy Independence’ 4th Annual Alternative Vehicle Technology Conference 2008.
