Constructed 1904. Renovated 2002 The lighthouse was prefabricated in England by Chance Brothers. https://www.flickr.com/photos/alaind20sn/2529876415/ Located on the northwestern tip of Pemba. Accessible by road (4WD recommended). Site open; the keeper will allow visitors to climb the tower, for a fee.
