    8 metre high cast iron cylindrical tower the bottom half painted black and the top half painted white. There is a black balcony and the original lantern has been removed.

    This light was one of four ordered from Chance Brothers in 1908 however this one dud not come into use until 1930 however I have been unable to find out why. The lantern was removed in 1973 and a modern light fitted. The lighthouse is situated on the top of a small island 40 miles west of Salaverry in Northern Peru which is only accesible by boat.
