Nature-based solution category: multi-habitat type

Buglife’s B-Lines project ran from April 2022 to 2024 across the Strathmore Valley from Montrose to Dunkeld, increasing the area and quality of pollinator-friendly wildflower-rich habitat by 24.8 hectares. The project worked with organisations and communities to create wildflower areas that link fragmented pollinator habitats and help species move across the landscape.

This map shows nature‑based solution projects that support climate change adaptation in the Tayside region. For this work, we use the NatureScot definition of nature‑based solutions (see: https://www.nature.scot/climate-change/nature-based-solutions).
