Limerick Map of Resources & Community Knowledge (LMRCK)

Mapping what we value, together.

Community-led map of Limerick mapping local strengths, resources, organisations and initiatives to help develop a network for Limerick promoting community resilience through co-sufficiency and mutual support.

LMRCK launched in September 2025 and has only begun to become populated by community groups facilitated through the Síolta Glasa project. It is a non-exhaustive map and is expected to change, evolve and become more detailed over time as communities take ownership of their own locality and we invite you to get involved by contributing directly.

LMRCK was initiated through a collaboration between Nocht Studio and West Limerick Resources as part of the Síolta Glasa project.

This initiative is co-funded by Creative Ireland, the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, through Limerick City and County Council Creative Climate Action – Síolta Glasa, and West Limerick Resources through SICAP. The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) is co-funded by the Irish Government, through the Department of Rural and Community Development, and the European Social Fund Plus under the Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training (EIST) Programme 2021-2027.

Many thanks to Cultivate, the Sustainable Ireland Cooperative, for inspiring this initiative.
