Awarded the LEED Silver Certification in 2007, the Bronx Library Center was one of New York City's first LEED Certified municipal buildings! Being the largest public library in the Bronx, this library contains large print and non-print materials for all and is also home to the Latino and Puerto Rican Cultural Center! This library is home to the Center for Reading and Writing, Technology Training Center, an auditorium, a Teen Center where teens may use computers, do their homework, play chess, or read, and a Career and Educational Information Service where individuals may receive career counseling (appointment or walk-ins are acceptable)!
