As a practice, we're carbon-neutral and always look for ways to reduce our impact on our environment. Our electricity supply is 100% renewable sourced - wind, solar and water â from Ecotricity. We use energy-efficient lighting throughout our practice. We've used wood and Marmoleum (manufactured from sustainable resources) to cover our floors. We try to operate without using paper. All patient records are computerised. Any paper used is recycled. We provide safe removal and replacement of mercury containing amalgam fillings. Fillings are trapped in a special amalgam separator, and disposed of responsibly reducing likelihood of polluting water supplies. Our mineral water supplier returns all profits into clean-water projects by installing wells and water pumps in India and Mali. Although digital x-rays cost us more than conventional x-rays, they cut 75-90% of radiation exposure and do not require toxic chemicals for film processing. We recycle everything currently possible. Staff either walk, cycle or use public transport to work.

If you can afford a private dentist (or the insurance to cover it) Bob Bhamra's practice offers a pleasant and friendly ambience as well as kind and efficient care for your teeth. They seem to have thought of every possible environmental issue for their business.
