The Environmental Club at McNair Academic High School does its best to give back to Jersey City's community. The club participates in tree planting, cleanups, clothing drives, and spread awareness about current environmental problems. Students participating in community initiatives receive community service hours and are interested to know about upcoming events and projects where they could assist. The Environmental Club meets every two weeks to discuss new events and projects on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm, so please contact our Club Advisors to share opportunities for our students to participate in community initiatives.
This provides students with the opportunity to contribute to their community in ways small and large. Despite the pandemic, the club was able to hold meetings and carry out projects.
