Ecooo is a non - profit company founded in 2005 and focused on all kinds of projects that activate citizens in favor of a new energy model , clean , sustainable and in the hands of people .
As a non-profit company, the profits from the activity go to information, awareness and education projects and activities in the energy, environmental, and promotion of an economic system based on respect for social rights and the environment.
The old economic paradigm based on individualism and the profit motive has established competitive and exclusive relationships. The new paradigm that we want to illuminate, however, requires networking and relationships are established around cooperation and collaboration. Hence, for many years we have been generating synergies and formal and informal agreements with many and very different organizations (ecologists, politicians, human rights, ethical banking, etc.). In the energy field as well. Along these same lines, we are actively working on the Platform for a New Energy Model, where a wide range of organizations and people join forces in all the territories of the State to facilitate the energy transition. In the economic and social sphere, Ecooo is part of SANNAS , an association of companies belonging to the Economy for the Common Good . Ecooo is a founding member of the Madrid Social Market cooperative , a Social Economy network promoted by REAS (the Alternative and Solidarity Economy Network) is part of its Governing Council and coordinates its Community Commission. She promoted the Teatro del Barrio cultural consumption cooperative , of which she is also a member of its Governing Council.
