    I have been unable to find much information or any photographs of this lighthouse. It appears in Chance's order books as Mount Washington though is better known as Cape Washjngton and is situated on the western tip of the island of Kadavu. I have found no information regarding whether the original Chance lens is still in situ though I have made the presumption that it is based only on lack of knowledge saying otgerwise and the difficulty to reach the lighthouse.

In the 1800s, Chance Brothers & Co glassworks in Smethwick began making the hi-tech lenses that lighthouses use to warn ships of dangerous locations. By 1951, over 2,500 lighthouses around the world were fitted with a Chance lens.
