Great spot to catch the last of the sun during the winter. Also a great swimming hole. It used to have a 40ft diving board where people would watch you dive into the buoyant, brackish water.

Burnside Gorge Neighbourhood Gems

Community mapping involves creating a map of a community that is told from the perspective of those who live, work, or play in the area. What places spark a special memory? Where do you feel most welcome? Where do you go to be with community? Where do you go to find peace in nature? These are just some of the prompting questions provided to participants at the community mapping events held in Cecelia Ravine in September and October of 2022.
