We believe that the natural world is key to helping us all feel connected and we utilize our relationship with the natural world to help understand our health & wellbeing, our relationships and our individual vision for the future. We believe that we need to respect, understand, learn and take action to help protect our changing climate.
We are still in our early stages of learning where we might fit and how we can support climate action, but we hope that through our creative activities engaging with the natural world this can provide opportunities for ourselves and those we engage or collaborate with to be proactive in helping to bring greater understanding to peoples own relationship with our climate and to look at both some of the positive and negative associations this relationship can have. This is a period of change and one where there is much to be learnt and considered and to be able to part of a wider network of individuals, groups, and organizations, feels an important step in helping to be active and supportive to the wider climate action activity.
We are currently based in Sutherland, but soon to be moving to Nairnshire, but our work takes us across the whole of the Highlands and Islands. We have a number of ideas that we would like to build on around the theme of climate action, based on a recent community led research project called Art & Nature Connections.
