Slattadale’s primary objective is to operate a financially and environmentally sustainable off-campus outdoor education facility for the benefit of the Gairloch High School ASG’s 3-18 community. The young people who make up this community live in areas from Shieldaig in the South to Laide and Dundonnell in the North.

The four main themes that we aim to support are: Education, Community, Wellbeing and Employability.

With Slattadale, we will be looking at embedding climate change and sustainability learning into some of the activities and events run for our children and young people. These would either be run solely by Slattadale volunteers/staff or jointly with various third-party organisations.

We are keen to partner/become members of organisations that can assist us in meeting our charitable aims and would very much appreciate being accepted as a Member of HICH.
