As a sheltered housing complex, we support owner occupiers by holding weekly afternoon meeting in our Social Lounge. Many of the home owners are single people and some have health issues which means they are not as able to travel.
We provide on site events which reduces loneliness and isolation, encourages friendships and can provide an alert to a health and wellbeing issue at an early stage. The average age is 83, most are single women and having a safe space with neighbours is greatly appreciated.
