The Pow Burn restoration project was supported by the SEPA
Water Environment Fund in 2017 and improved 2.5 km of the burn by returning it
to a more natural form. The work aimed to improve local flood risk management
and biodiversity by restoring river processes and habitat quality.
This map shows nature‑based solution projects that support climate change adaptation in the Tayside region. For this work, we use the NatureScot definition of nature‑based solutions (see: https://www.nature.scot/climate-change/nature-based-solutions).
