Nature-based solution category: reedbed restoration

The Montrose Basin reedbed restoration project is restoring a 2.8-hectare area of reedbed at Montrose Basin Local Nature Reserve through a cutting rotation that supports diversity in reedbed age and structure. Funded by Angus Council’s Nature Restoration Fund, the project improves habitat condition and biodiversity within the reserve.
