Coll Growing Group

Coll Growing Group was set up on the Isle of Coll in 2022 to support growing on the island. They do this through practical growing activities and through the sharing of information and expertise.

Recent activities include:

  • Garden visits to different gardens on the island
  • Gardeners’ Question Time events
  • A film screening and talk on Soil
  • Setting up a Community Fridge
  • Foraging trip to the Isle of Canna
  • Supporting the Primary School with a range of activities
  • Initial steps to create a community garden

ABCAN Map Argyll & Bute

ABCAN is supported through Scottish Government funding and overseen through a collaboration between ACT, Argyll & Bute Third Sector Interface and Time for Change Argyll & Bute. We’re part of a network of 24 Climate Hubs which collectively cover every region of Scotland. These hubs are rooted in their local place, run by local experts and connected to community organisations and cross-sector partners.
