This project: tree planting, greening active travel routes
Dronley Community Woodland is a 50-hectare community woodland located near Dundee, acquired through a Community Asset Transfer in 2019 and attracting over 20,000 visits annually. Managed for sustainable timber production, biodiversity, recreation, and health and wellbeing, the woodland supports volunteering, education, training and local employment opportunities. The project improves air and water quality, protects wildlife habitat and carbon stores and enhances community engagement, protect wildlife habitats and carbon stores.
