The Dunoon Men's Shed is a charitable organisation that aims to improve the health, well-being, and social needs of older men through a membership system. Memberships cost £20 per year and there is a daily fee of £3 when members visit which goes towards facilities. The Men's Shed is proud to involve itself in many community projects in which members can get involved or you can work on personal projects.
The Men's Shed members have such an array of backgrounds that they can repair a variety of items. This includes lawnmowers, hoovers, sewing machines, bicycles, and much more. If you have an item that needs to be repaired, call on the number below to enquire if this is possible and you can arrange to drop it off. All they ask is that you give them a donation when the job is completed, and you may need to pay for any parts required for the job. They are also happy to take items such as old bicycles that they could potentially use for parts. It is worth giving them a call.
