Tramway is a renowned international arts venue with an interdisciplinary spirit whose mission is to enrich & inspire communities by providing ambitious, innovative, & culturally-relevant contemporary visual art & performance.
A public venue in the Pollokshields area of the south side of Glasgow, Tramway plays a civic role within its immediate community whilst also serving the artistic sector by fostering international dialogue, exchange, & partnerships with our global peers & collaborators.
Tramway's aim is to make the venue as accessible as possible for all our visitors.
*Accessibility notes - All public areas in Tramway are wheelchair accessible, with lift access to the mezzanine & first floor. (Please note, to comply with current physical distancing measures only one person/visiting group is able to enter the lifts at any one time.) Assistance dogs are welcome at Tramway (please note, due to the nature of the building & our neighbours at The Hidden Gardens, ONLY Assistance dogs are permitted).
Tramway is a family-friendly venue. Breastfeeding is welcome. They have baby-changing facilities on the ground floor, & the Café Bar has a family corner. High chairs are available.
